Stormie Partee is your everyday, west Texas gal! Originally from Big Spring, TX Stormie had a very active and athletic upbringing. Before graduating high school and moving the DFW to attend University of North Texas to study Risk Management and Insurance, she spent much of her time playing club volleyball and incorporated her love for the sport throughout her college years. In 2018, after suffering from her second knee injury, Stormie was introduced to Pilates through her rehabilitation specialist, and she immediately fell in love with the fitness program.

Stormie took her love for the program to the next level in July 2019 and pursued her first teacher training certification through Club Pilates. After completion, Stormie fell in love with the rich history of authentic Pilates and made the leap to bridge to classical Pilates mat education with the reputable, and internationally regarded, Power Pilates NY. It was then that Stormie knew she wanted to take her understanding of Pilates to the next level and pursued her 2nd Comprehensive Pilates Certification with prestigious 600+ hour Century Pilates Teacher Training Program headquartered in Arlington, TX. Stormie has completed over 1,300 hours of teacher training, and continues to develop her craft through private and group class instruction, continued education and various Pilates workshops.

In addition to her passion for Pilates, Stormie continues to be dedicated to her first passion as a professional in the risk management and insurance industry. She is the Senior Vice President and Operations Director for Boyd, Shackleford, Barnett & Dixon, LLC headquartered in Plano, TX. She is also the current President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Tarrant County, an organization she has been heavily involved in since 2013; the organization focuses on strengthening professional relationships while providing opportunities for professional development, political advocacy, and community outreach.

Stormie is a devoted mother to Graham Alan, 15, and Carder Knox, 13. She currently holds various board seats for the Lamar High School Band Booster Club, Lamar High School Football Booster Club, and the Shackelford Junior High School PTA out of Arlington, TX.

One of her biggest hopes to come from her commitment to proliferate Pilates is that her children recognize the importance of a great fitness program and healthy lifestyle – to be a role model exerting strength, independence, positivity, and determination. With all those characteristics in mind, she wishes to spread her love for Pilates to every person she encounters.
